Drug Demand Reduction

Drug Demand Reduction

The National Guard Drug Demand Reduction Program is a "force multiplier" in support of drug prevention coalitions, state organizations, and other various agencies in their efforts to reduce the abuse and illegal use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The focus is on drug abuse education, prevention, and awareness. Our goal is to add value to all communities and the lives of all youth in all the states, territories, and the District of Columbia by reducing the demand for and use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. This program is managed by the state Counter Drug Coordinator. To find out what resources are available in your area, contact your Counter Drug Coordinator.
